Rebecca Jean Lawrence is a creative queer photographer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Rebecca studied art at Seattle University with an emphasis in photography, graduating in 2008. Seattle University’s social justice mission helped guide her interest in storytelling and photography into tools for inspiring social change.
Rebecca photographs for many non-profits in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and documents events that are in line with her values. She also works as a freelance photographer photographing both on location and in studios.
She works with you to understand what you want your pictures to convey, how you want your photo experience to unfold, which images you want to showcase and how.
Rebecca’s photos convey her warm, playful and artistic personality. Outside of photography, Rebecca also loves food, cooking, family, camping, dancing, hula hooping and making people smile.
